<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable many splices to be housed inside a protector armoring a wire harness. <P>SOLUTION: A splice housing section protrudes from a bottom wall into a side space of a wire harness main passage enclosed by the bottom wall and peripheral walls of a body of a protector. The splice housing section has partition walls raised at constant intervals, and a closure wall on one end side of the partition walls. A plurality of splice housing chambers sandwiched by the partition walls are juxtaposed. The side opposite the closure wall of each splice housing chamber is an insertion opening, and each splice housing chamber has a height enough to house splices in at least two tiers. Of splices branching from a wire harness, a splice having a splice sheet wound on an outer circumference and a splice covered with a cap of insulating resin are housed vertically adjacently. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
