MANUFACTURING METHOD AND DEVICE OF LIGHT GUIDE PLATE, LIGHT GUIDE PLATE, PLANAR LIGHT SOURCE DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH THE SAME, AS WELL AS TRANSMISSION IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method and device of a light guide plate capable of emitting planar light with high appearance quality and high uniformity in case of forming a dot pattern by an ink jet method, a light guide plate, a planar light source device equipped with the same, and a transmission image display device.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the light guide plate includes a process of printing a dot pattern 50 on the surface of a translucent resin sheet 35 with a nozzle 73 for dropping ink 75 moved by a conveying means 60, a process of forming reflective dots 51 with the ink 75 forming the dot pattern 50 printed on the surface of the translucent resin sheet 35 by irradiating ultraviolet rays, and a process of adjusting at least either moving speed V of the translucent resin sheet 35 or a distance between a position for dropping the ink 75 and a position for irradiating ultraviolet rays, based on a liquid drop diameter D1 of a total volume of the ink 75 necessary for forming one dot and a dot diameter D2 when the ultraviolet rays are irradiated onto the ink 75.
