<p>A method for controlling Machine Type Communication (MTC) equipment to access network is disclosed in the present invention. Access grades are set for MTC equipments or MTC groups, and corresponding access parameters are set for the MTC equipments or MTC groups according to the access grades. Said method includes: said access parameters are notified to or configured on the MTC equipments; the MTC equipments initiate access requests according to said access parameters. Otherwise access priorities are configured for the MTC equipments or MTC groups. Said method includes: after having received the access requests from the MTC equipments, the network side acquires the access priorities of said MTC equipments or MTC groups and performs an access control on said MTC equipments according to the current network load. A system for implementing said method is also disclosed in the present invention. The present invention can ensure that the service load of the core network side is controlled in a certain range, thus avoiding the influences on the service that has accessed the network currently. The present invention is especially applicable to communication systems with Machine To Machine (M2M) mechanism.</p> |
