Film compound bank note and method for its production

The document i.e. composite-film banknote (1), has a core layer provided with two main surfaces, and an adhesive layer, which sticks a cover layer with one of the surfaces together. Another adhesive layer sticks another cover layer with another main surface together. The core layer includes segments (8), where one of the segments is made of core layer materials that are arranged next to each other in a surface direction of the document, and the other segment (9) is made of a transparent plastic foil strip. The segments extend over an entire length or width of the document without overlapping. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a value document.
