Imager, its manufacturing procedure and its use

The sensor (1) has an array-structure comprising a photo sensor (2) with a micro lens (3), and an evaluation unit (5) connected downstream of the image sensor over a wire or radio link (4). The photo sensor with the micro lens is attached to a flexible foil. The photo sensor has a photo-resist layer that is inserted into a permanent flexible substrate from Parylene C(RTM: poly-chloro-p-xylylene) and orcomer(RTM: heteropolysiloxane), where the array-structure is designed in a dimensionally-stable and curved manner or permanently flexible manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an image sensor comprising an array-structure.
