PURPOSE: A standing pressure iron is provided to iron an object hanging on a clothes hanger by applying pressure onto an object placed between a bottom plate and an ironing plate. CONSTITUTION: A standing pressure iron comprises an electromagnet unit(200), an electricity supply unit, an ironing board unit(800), and a switch unit. The electromagnet unit creates a magnetic force above a bottom plate. The electricity supply unit supplies electricity to the electromagnet unit. The ironing board unit has an area and a shape corresponding to the bottom plate. The switch unit connects or blocks electricity supplied to the electromagnet unit or controls the intensity of electric power to adjust the magnetic force of the electromagnet unit.
