PURPOSE: A TV(TeleVision) control system using a portable terminal and method thereof are provided to offer optimized user interfaces to a user of a portable terminal by controlling the portable terminal by interlocking an internet server with a two-ways TV. CONSTITUTION: A user profile server(100) receives a first control signal according to user input for a user interface provided to a portable terminal through a synchronization program. The user profile server transmits a second control signal for a function of a two-ways TV(20) based on a matching table. The matching table is previously stored by matching the function of the user interface with the function of the two-ways television. The user profile server controls the function of the two-ways TV according to the input of the user interface. |
