Energy Saving Booster Pump Method

PURPOSE: A method for operating a booster pump in a row for saving energy is provided to reduce power for controlling a pump while two ore more pumps connected in a row are operated with same RPM. CONSTITUTION: A method for operating a booster pump in a row for saving energy is as follows. First, second, and third pumps are respectively installed. RPM is controlled using a booster controller and a speed order. A result value calculated by the booster controller is delivered to inverters as the speed order if a pressure sensor(15) determines that the higher pressure of a pipe(10) is higher than predetermined pressure . The inverters rotate the first pump based on the speed order. The inverters respond to the booster controller(20) with current speed. The first and second pumps are operated if the current speed is more than 55Hz.
