PURPOSE: A route map information providing method and a system thereof are provided to generate a customized map mapped with necessary information by enable a user to generate or select item information according to content selected in a fixed space or an indoor environment. CONSTITUTION: A map information service server extracts map information of a specific space from a database(S502). A QR(quick response) code service server extracts QR code information from the database(S506). The map information service server displays a QR code as POI(Point Of Interest) information on a specific location designated according to item location information on the map(S510). The map information service server extracts a route according to predetermined route analysis rules based on a plurality of POI information(S512).
