PURPOSE: A management system, an image forming device, and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to easily save a registered document and easily register a scanned document only with manipulation of a device. CONSTITUTION: A determining unit compares data required to be registered by an image forming device with an empty space of a specific area of a storage unit. A save storage unit is provisionally used to save the data. If a size of the data does not exceed the empty space, a registration unit stores the data in the specific area. If the size of the data exceeds the empty space, an extracting unit extracts data from data of a set to be stored in the specific area according to a fixed condition.
