The method involves installing a program on a computer terminal to ensure a dialog between a router and the terminal. The router is automatically configured according to safety requirements, where the safety requirements are that the password of the router is different from a default password, the number of available Internet protocol (IP) addresses is exactly same as the number of devices connected to the router, media access control (MAC) addresses are filtered, and the name of a wireless network is hidden. Configuration of the router is changed by the program depending on a response.
