<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc clutch having a double vibration damping mechanism which accurately and preliminarily absorbs torsional vibration generated by an engine, is simple and effective, has durability, and is manufactured at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: A clutch disc comprises a first torsional disc 2 connectable with the engine, a second holding disc 3 solidly connected with the torsional disc 2, and a flange 4 connected with the first and second discs 2, 3 by at least one damping elastic element 5 forming a first torsional vibration damping device, and the flange 4 is connected with a hub 6 connectable with a vehicle transmission by a second torsional vibration damping device. A torsional vibration damping device includes at least one self centering hub element, operates cooperatively with the torsional disc 2, generates friction torque between them, and performs self-centering when the second torsional vibration damping device effectively damps vibration from the engine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
