<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine control device that is capable of suppressing an increase of emission on the occurrence of failure of an air-fuel ratio imbalance between cylinders in a V-type engine. <P>SOLUTION: It is determined whether an imbalance failure of an air-fuel ratio occurs in first and second banks 4 and 5. When changing the target air-fuel ratio of the bank where the imbalance failure occurs so that the increase of the emission is suppressed, both of target air-fuel ratios of the first and second banks are changed so that the purification of exhaust gas may be executed by both of a pre-stage catalyst 18 and a post-stage catalyst 30 of the bank where the imbalance failure occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
