<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an order device capable of providing salespeople with information for sales promotion to customers. <P>SOLUTION: An order device according to an embodiment comprises a display, information receiving means, display control means and order accepting means. The information receiving means receives hot-selling information showing hot-selling menu items from an output unit for transmitting the hot-selling information. The display control means causes the display to display a list of menu item indications showing menu items, and also causes the display to display a hot-selling indication, which informs a hot-selling menu item based on the hot-selling information, along with the list of menu item indications, when the information receiving means receives the hot-selling information.
