<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal engaging structure which allows a reduction in the number of components and facilitates an operation to disengage an engaging lance. <P>SOLUTION: A terminal engaging structure comprises: an engaging lance 18 which can be elastically deformed in a direction intersecting an insertion direction of a terminal 4 into a terminal housing chamber 11, and which engages with the terminal 4 so as to prevent the terminal 4 from being disengaged from the terminal housing chamber 11; and a flexible arm 17 which is arranged to extend from a tip of the engaging lance 18 toward an insertion opening 13 of the terminal housing chamber 11 for a mating terminal and is connected to an inner wall of the terminal housing chamber 11, and which can be elastically deformed, together with the engaging lance 18, in the direction intersecting the insertion direction of the terminal 4 into the terminal housing chamber 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
