摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyacrylonitrile(PAN)-based, amphiphilic graft copolymer that can be utilized, for example, for the production of membranes for liquid filtration. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane for liquid filtration contains the amphiphilic graft copolymer containing a polyacrylonitrile backbone and a plurality of hydrophilic side-chains containing polyethylene oxide. The hydrophilic side-chains include polymerizable acrylate groups at one end of the chain thereof and are provided by a copolymerized macromonomer having ethylene oxide as a hydrophilic repeating unit. The graft copolymers have a microphase-separated structure. The hydrophilic side-chains are aggregated in nanometer-scale domains interspersed with hydrophobic domains containing the polyacrylonitrile of the backbone. The amphiphilic graft copolymer adsorbs less than 20% of the protein adsorbed by a corresponding polyacrylonitrile polymer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
