<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transaction processing device and a transaction processing system that achieve handling even when a recorded number is not determined as one. <P>SOLUTION: The transaction device which receives paper sheets etc., thrown in by a user and performs a transaction includes: a communication part which receives past transaction history information, associated with the paper sheets etc., made to correspond to user information for identifying the user from a host computer; an identification part which identifies identification information on the paper sheets etc., thrown in the transaction device in the current transaction based upon predetermined identification information on reference paper sheets etc.,, determines likelihood of the identification information on the paper sheets etc., based upon similarity to the identification information on the reference paper sheets etc., when the identification information on the paper sheets etc., thrown in the transaction device cannot be uniquely identified, and acquires trace information in which the determined likelihood and the identification information on the paper sheets etc., are associated with each other; and a control part which identifies the identification information on the paper sheets etc., of the current transaction by determining the degree of coincidence between trace information included in the past transaction history information and the trace information acquired by the identification part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
