<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering system capable of suppressing a degradation in axial force of a fastening bolt. <P>SOLUTION: A pair of first and second lower side support mechanisms 27 and 28 include coil springs 66 and 86, respectively, which can be compressed in the axial direction of support bolts 53 and 73.
