The present invention relates to a pot assembly for horticultural crop cultivation. The pot assembly includes: a pot for receiving the seeds of a horticultural crop and a nutrient-supplying soil to cover the seeds of the horticultural crop so as to provide nutrients thereto; and a pot cover coupled to the top surface of the pot to closely press the top surface of the nutrient-supplying soil received in the pot, thereby preventing the seeds of the horticultural crop from being dislodged from the position thereof when the pot is moved. The water content of the nutrient-supplying soil may be adjusted to delay the germination of the seeds of the horticultural crop even when moisture is not supplied from the outside. |
