A multi-display system (10) is provided with: a plurality of display panels (100) positioned adjacent to each other with a border (20) therebetween; and a translucent cover (113) disposed on the plurality of display panels (100), and positioned in such a manner as to extend across both of the plurality of adjacently positioned display panels (100) and cover the boundary (20). The translucent cover (113) is constituted by: a support section (113P) that covers at least a portion of a display panel other than the border (20); and an area that is continuous with the support section (113P), and that has a recess (113C) formed on an observer's side in a position facing the border (20).
