<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable electronic apparatus and a control program for a portable electronic apparatus capable of increasing operability while preventing wrong operation. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 190 of a portable electronic apparatus includes an information acquisition section 190c for acquiring operation information that shows user's operation. The control device 190 also includes a control processing execution section 190f for executing control processing corresponding to the operation shown by the acquired operation information. The control device 190 further includes a holding detection section 190d for detecting the apparatus is held by a user.
