<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting head and a liquid jetting apparatus, capable of preventing a nozzle plate from peeling off and the nozzle plate and a channel forming member from wearing out to improve reliability. <P>SOLUTION: The head includes: the nozzle plate 14 having a nozzle opening; a channel forming substrate 12 in which a pressure generation chamber communicating with the nozzle opening is disposed; and a pressure generator for applying pressure for discharging a liquid droplet to the pressure generation chamber. In an outer edge 141 of the nozzle plate 14, a surface on a channel forming substrate 12 side is joined to the channel forming substrate 12 with an adhesive. The adhesive adheres to a side 143 of the outer edge 141 of the nozzle plate 14.
