<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheeted ceramic base and a method of manufacture thereof which implement improved quality and productivity while implementing miniaturization. <P>SOLUTION: A sheeted ceramic base 1A has a plurality of rectangular ceramic bases 1 formed therein. Through terminals 5x are formed on wall surfaces of through holes 9 formed at corner portions of each ceramic base 1. Lead terminals 4a of crystal holding terminals 4 for holding a crystal piece 2 on an obverse surface of the ceramic base 1 are connected to diagonal through terminals 5x, and on a reverse surface of the ceramic base 1, mounting terminals 5a, 5b are formed in connection to the through terminals 5x.
