<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide devices, systems and methods of selecting a station of a wireless network to perform the role of a wireless network controller or control point. <P>SOLUTION: The station may receive a request to check the capabilities of the station in order to select the wireless network controller wherein the request includes sending station capabilities values. The station checks the station self capabilities by comparing the station self capabilities values with the sending station capabilities values in descending capabilities priority order and if the station capability value is higher than the sending station capability value then the station may select the station with the higher capability value as the wireless network controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
