<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that hermeticity is secured during food preservation and simultaneously vapor is drawn out at low cost during cooking. <P>SOLUTION: An outer peripheral side of an opening of a container body 1 includes slanted protrusions 3, and the inside of a brim part 8 of a lid body 2 is formed with engaging protrusions 6 that engage with the slanted protrusions 3 and vapor vents 9 for exhausting vapor during cooking. Clearance between the lid body 2 and the container body 1 can be reduced to an optimum size for cooking by just relatively rotating the former with respect to the latter, thus making it possible to substantially reduce the cost needed for such a configuration. Furthermore, the vapor vents 9 are formed at a position where they do not overlap with handles 7 provided on the container body 1 when the clearance size is adjusted, thus preventing the handles 7 from being heated by the vapor generated during the cooking and making it possible to carry the container easily after the cooking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
