<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer device capable of favorably transferring a toner image on an image carrier onto a transfer material without depending on a resistance of the transfer material. <P>SOLUTION: The transfer device includes: a transfer belt 40 carrying an image developed with a liquid developer containing a toner and a carrier; a secondary transfer backup roller 41, on which the transfer belt 40 is wound and a bias voltage in the same polarity as the polarity of the toner is applied; a conductive secondary transfer roller 61 in contact with the secondary transfer backup roller 41 via the transfer belt 40 and transferring the image onto a transfer material; a first conducting member electrically connected to the secondary transfer roller 61; a conductive first contact member 141 in contact with the transfer material on a face where the image is transferred; and a second conducting member electrically connected to the first contact member 141. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
