<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse wave sensor capable of highly accurately measuring pulse waves by reducing influence of noise components (called motion noise, hereinafter) due to the movement and vibrations of a subject. <P>SOLUTION: The pulse wave sensor 1 includes: a first light sensor 10 provided with a first light emitting portion 11 to emit light of a first emission intensity P1 to a living body 2, and a first light receiving portion 12 to receive returning light which is emitted from the first light emitting portion 11 and then transmitted through the living body 2 and to generate a first light receiving signal S1; a second light sensor 20 provided with a second light emitting portion 21 to emit light of a second emission intensity P2 weaker than the first emission intensity P1 to the living body 2, and a second light receiving portion 22 to receive returning light which is emitted from the second light emitting portion 21 and then transmitted through the living body 2 and to generate a second light receiving signal S2; and an arithmetic circuit 30 to acquire pulse wave data by subtracting the second light receiving signal S2 from the first light receiving signal S2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
