<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To settle eccentric load inside a drum rapidly and accurately in starting dewatering. <P>SOLUTION: A drum washing machine comprises: a first pulley 8 provided coaxially with a rotational shaft 3a of a drum 3; a first motor 6 for rotatively driving the first pulley 8; a current detecting part 20 for detecting a driving current of the first motor 6; a bearing 11 provided coaxially with the rotational shaft 3a; a second pulley 12 fixed on the bearing 11; a balancing part 13 fixed on the second pulley 12 and having a weight in a circumferential portion; a second motor 15 for rotatively driving the second pulley 12; an eccentricity detecting part 102 for detecting eccentricity of laundry in accordance with current change detected by the current detecting part 20; an adjusting part 104 for adjusting the number of revolution of the second motor 15; and a control unit 10 for controlling an operation of the washing machine. In starting dewatering, while driving the first motor 6 at a balanced rotational speed at which centrifugal force applied to the laundry placed in the drum 3 is commensurate with gravity, the adjusting part 104 adjusts the number of revolution of the second motor 15 so as to settle the eccentricity detected by the eccentricity detecting part 102. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
