<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact rotary electric machine unit which has excellent vehicle mountability and achieves high cooling performance. <P>SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine unit 1 has: a rotary electric machine 3 having an annular stator and a rotator provided at the inner side of the stator; and an electric power conversion device 2 which has an annular inverter case 20 and a power module 27 housed in the inverter case 20 and is laminated on the rotary electric machine 3 so that a lower surface of the inverter case 20 contacts with an upper surface of the stator to be integrated with the rotary electric machine 3. The electric power conversion device 2 has a cooling passage 25 annularly formed in the inverter case 20, and the power module 27 has a heat radiation part disposed in the cooling passage 25 and conducting heat exchange with a coolant flowing in the cooling passage 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
