<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid body structure for a keyboard instrument capable of improving freedom of design of a musical instrument body. <P>SOLUTION: When a keyboard is turned into an open state from a closed state in which it is covered with a front lid 8a and a rear cover 8b, the front lid 8a is rotated by a rotary shaft 15 with respect to the rear cover 8b. Moreover, backward movement of an engagement pin 17 and a pinion 18 disposed in the rear cover 8b is guided by front part guide grooves 19a, 19b and a rack 20 internally provided for a musical instrument body 3. Since the rack 20 is placed at the back of the front part guide grooves 19a, 19b, the rear cover 8b is moved backward while nearly maintaining its posture. Therefore, height of a storage space S of the musical instrument body 3 as thick as the rear cover 8b is enough to be in the open state. Thus, the storage space S to consider when designing the musical instrument body 3 can be made small, and the whole height of the musical instrument body 3 is suppressed low, so that the freedom of design of the musical instrument body 3 can be improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
