<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric motor capable of reducing an eddy current loss to be equal to or less than that of a Cu wire to reduce an AC resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The motor is equipped with a plurality of iron cores 221 arranged in the center of circle, a plurality of coils 223 having the plurality of iron cores 221 which are wound by an electric wire 222 including materials whose volume resistivity is higher than that of copper and a rotor 224 which rotates by impressing AC current on the plurality of the coils 223. The motor has a first frequency and a second frequency larger than the first frequency in which AC resistance value of the electric wire 222 corresponds to the AC resistance value of a copper wire with the same wire diameter and length as the electric wire 222, and the frequency of an AC current which is impressed on the coil 223 is controlled so that the frequency which the coil 223 is used for falls within the frequency band between the first and the second frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
