<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive terminal device capable of extracting a plurality of stable chip coding data from an authentication article. <P>SOLUTION: By providing luminous sources L1, L2 and L3 that generate different wavelengths of light and camera 14 in a dark space 52 of a terminal device 2, a stable light is obtained and analysis of an authentication article (analog chip 4) by infrared rays etc. is enabled.
