An image processing apparatus includes a recording/reproducing unit that records data on a first recording medium and reproduces recorded data from the first recording medium; a recording unit that records data on a second recording medium; and a controller, when print designation information of the first image data cannot be recorded on the first recording medium, the print designation information indicates print processing of image data, controls the recording/reproducing unit and the recording unit to read the first image data from the first recording medium and record the first image data and print designation information of the first image data on the second recording medium. |
