<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively provide failure detection or circuit protection. <P>SOLUTION: A motor drive controller comprises: a switching element that outputs a first signal for supplying electric power from a power supply to a motor by switching; a drive control circuit that outputs a second signal for controlling switching operations of the switching element; and a determination section that determines whether or not discrepancy exists between a logical level of the first signal and a logical level of the second signal and, if the discrepancy exists, outputs an error signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
