PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new personal identification method capable of minimizing a system-operational problem and a psychological problem of an authentication object person, while maintaining the convenience of biometric authentication.
SOLUTION: Seals 12 each having marks 14r, 14b printed thereon are attached on finger nails of a user of a personal identification system, respectively. After a border line of the fingers and the marks 14r, 14b are extracted from a digital image of the photographed fingers of the user with the seals 12 attached thereon, a reference point and a tracking origin point are defined on the basis of the marks 14r, 14b. Furthermore, pixel ID is serial-numbered to the pixels constituting the border line of the fingers sequentially from the tracking origin point, and then a table in which the clearance between each of the pixels constituting the border line of the fingers and the reference point is associated with the ID is used as data for authentication.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
