<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device having magnetic material cores that do not show unevenness in temperature and are easily molded, and an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A fixing device of an embodiment includes: an endless heat generating roller that has a metal conductive material; an excitation coil that generates induction current in the metal conductive material; and a plurality of magnetic material cores that are in a symmetrical shape with respect to lines parallel to a rotation shaft of the heat generating roller, and are arranged in the longitudinal direction of the excitation coil at a predetermined interval. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
