摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight and compact self-weight compensator that can be built in welfare equipment such as a wheelchair or a rehabilitation support device. <P>SOLUTION: The mechanical self-weight compensator includes: a link mechanism comprising a top plate 13, a bottom plate 14, and eight links 5-18 of the same length; two pairs of gears 1-4 fixed to the inside links 5-8 in the link mechanism and pivoted to the bottom plate 14 and top plate 13; rubber elastic bodies 15-22 stretched between the links rotated in different directions; a post 23 perpendicularly assembled to the bottom plate 14; and a rubber elastic body 25 stretched between the top plate 13 and the bottom plate 14 through a pulley 24 arranged on the post 23.
