<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a constitution capable of collecting failure information even by any of an information collecting device having no communication function and an information collecting device having the communication function, without requiring labor of setting work. <P>SOLUTION: This failure information collecting system 10 includes a plurality of control devices 11 mounted on a vehicle and storing information on failure caused in the vehicle as the failure information, an on-vehicle LAN 14 for connecting the plurality of control devices 11 so as to be mutually communicable, a failure diagnostic device 12 having no communication function for collecting the failure information from the control devices 11, and a navigation device 13 having the communication function for collecting the failure information from the control devices 11. The failure diagnostic device 12 collects the failure information from the control devices 11 only when connected to the on-vehicle LAN 14. The navigation device 13 is always connected to the on-vehicle LAN 14, and collects the failure information from the control devices 11 only when the failure diagnostic device 12 is not connected to the on-vehicle LAN 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
