<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely absorb collision energy by using a front tire, in a vehicle having an antilock brake system. <P>SOLUTION: A front underrun protector 4 extends in the vehicle width direction by being supported by a front end lower part of the vehicle 1. An energy absorber 6 has a front face 8a supported by a side part of the vehicle 1 in the rear of the front underrun protector 4 and in close vicinity to the front underrun protector 4, and a rear surface 9a opposed to the front face 15a of the front tire 15. When a determining part determines as a collision preoccurrence state of being high in the possibility of colliding the other vehicle with the vehicle, a braking control part generates braking force by automatic braking to the vehicle 1, and stops operation of an antilock brake system controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
