<p>Provided is a battery pack having a constitution wherein a plurality of secondary battery cells are connected in series during discharge and connected in parallel during charging. Even if an abnormality is present in a secondary battery cell, the constitution and structure are such that charging and discharging are performed without impediment. A battery pack (10) is provided with a plurality of secondary battery cells (21) and a control circuit (11). Under the control of the control circuit (11), the plurality of secondary battery cells (21) is connected in parallel during discharging and connected in series during charging. The control circuit (11) measures the voltage of each secondary battery cell (21) before charging. Secondary battery cells (21) with a measured value for the voltage of a prescribed value or less are electrically disconnected from the other secondary battery cells (21) as abnormal secondary battery cells, and in that state, the other secondary battery cells (21) are connected in parallel and charged.</p> |
