<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output an appropriate alarm according to a behavior pattern of a user. <P>SOLUTION: An event signal, showing that a monitoring object is in an abnormal condition, is output based on an output of a sensor. A score for determining the abnormal condition is updated based on a coefficient for controlling a degree of change of the score according to the event signal. An alarm is output according to the score, and a response of a user to the alarm is detected.
