<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a radiologist from being incapable of believing his/her own determination or feeling a sense of distrust of Computer-Aided Detection (CAD), when the CAD does not detect that an attention region suspected to be an abnormal shadow candidate by the radiologist is the abnormal shadow candidate. <P>SOLUTION: A control section 41 of an image display device 4 determines whether the attention region designated by an operation section 42 is included among the abnormal shadow candidates detected by an abnormal shadow candidate detector 2. When determining that the designated attention region is not included among the abnormal shadow candidates, the control section 41 of the image display device 4 identifies the reason why the designated intention region is not detected as the abnormal shadow candidate, and makes the reason displayed on a display section 43. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
