[Class 20(iv)] A wall comprises two different types of adjoining panel units-slabs of large width 1 and offset narrower strips 2. The lateral edges of the units are formed (e.g. by bevelling as shown at 4) so that straight walls are formed by alternating dissimilar units and the corners by positioning similar units (i.e. the wide slabs 1 as at A or the narrower strips as at B). Other shapes of the lateral edges are described. The units may be applied to a metal skeleton or may be used to cover existing brick or concrete walls. The units may be made of stone, concrete, wood, plastics or other material. Slabs may be omitted as at 1a to form door or window openings: |
