APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING COLORED PAPER MOSAIC IMAGE USING EDGE INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A device for generating a colored paper mosaic image using edge information and a method thereof are provided to prevent flicker phenomena while maintaining a fixed interval between frames. CONSTITUTION: A colored paper generating unit(130) uniformly arranges a second basic pattern on the other areas of image frames except for an offset area. The colored paper generating unit changes first and second basic patterns. The colored paper generating unit generates torn colored paper. A rendering unit(150) renders the colored paper based on the first basic pattern and the second basic pattern. The rendering unit generates a colored paper mosaic image frame.
