PURPOSE: A promotional robot and a control method thereof are provided to enable various public relations with an autonomous motion function and a remote control function. CONSTITUTION: A promotional robot and a control method thereof comprise a body part, a head part, arm parts, and a leg part. The body part comprises a monitor in the front. The head part is installed on the top end of the body part and has a camera photographing a front area. The head part vertically and laterally rotates. The arm parts are installed in both sides of the body part and can move with four degree of freedom. The leg part is installed at the bottom of the body part.
