PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for correcting guidelines of rear images of a vehicle are provided to accurately recognize objects locating in the rear side of a vehicle because guidelines can be changed in consideration of the gradient of reflected routes during a backward state by reflecting the driven routes that a vehicle forwardly drove. CONSTITUTION: A method for correcting guidelines of rear images of a vehicle includes next steps. A vehicle collects information related with the drive of roads where that vehicle forwardly drove(S100). The gradient of the road where the vehicle forwardly drove is calculated based on the collected driving information. In case that the vehicle moves backward on the road, preset guidelines of rear images are adjusted and outputted based on the gradient of the road. |
