A MOLD AND A MOLD MANUFACTURING METHOD BY DUAL-COATING PROCESS

PURPOSE: A mold obtained by a dual-coating process, and a producing method thereof are provided to coat metal alkoxide and a silica precursor into different layers for preventing the generation of faulty molds. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a mold obtained by a dual-coating process comprises the following steps: coating a silicate precursor on the mold formed with a resin to obtain a first layer, and drying the mold; and coating metal alkoxide on the mold to obtain a second layer, and drying the mold. The coating processes are performed by dipping the mold into a silicate precursor solution or a metal alkoxide solution for 1 minute-1 hour. The silicate precursor includes a monomer silicate precursor and a polymer siloxane precursor. The drying processes are performed at the temperature greater than 80 deg C for more than 0.5 hours. The producing method additionally includes a step of heat-processing the coated mold.
