Catecholamine derivatives of formula (I), processes for their preparation, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and their use in therapy is disclosed, wherein the variables shown in the structure of formula (I) are as defined in the specification. These compounds are suitable for the treatment of psychoses, impotence, renal failure, heart failure, hypertension, cognitive impairment, restless legs syndrome (RLS) or periodic limb movement disorder (PLMD) movement disorders, poverty of movement, dyskinetic disorders, gait disorders, intention tremor in a mammal, and neurodegenerative disorder such as Parkinson's disease or Huntington's disease.
