The minimum early enteral nutrition is prescribed on the first postoperative day and thereafter; adequate tolerance of the probe nutrition and the presence of minimum excretion allows alternation of various formulae for enteral nutrition. On the first postoperative day, a monomer formula with added 20% Nutriene Elemental 200 ml is introduced. On the second day, Nutriene Elemental is introduced in the volume of 10 kcal/day. On the third day, Nutrisone Standard is introduced in the volume of 15 kcal/day. On the forth day, the formula Nutrisone Energia with dietary fibres is introduced in the volume of 20 kcal/day.
