<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set a protection voltage at which a protection circuit stops charging in accordance with the type of a charging device. <P>SOLUTION: A battery pack loadable on the charging device includes: a protection means for connecting battery cells included in the battery pack to the charging device such that a voltage from the charging device is supplied to the battery cells, and disconnecting the battery cells from the charging device such that the voltage from the charging device is not supplied to the battery cells; a control means for controlling the protection means such that the battery cells are disconnected from the charging device if the voltage supplied from the charging device to the battery cells is higher than a predetermined voltage; and a setting means for setting the predetermined voltage in response to a command received by the battery pack from the charging device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
